"Working with my hands has always felt like home. From a young age , I was drawn to the sensory, tactile world—feeling, shaping, creating, moulding. It was in these hands-on spaces that I felt most myself. I began doing intuitive bodywork as a child, massaging my mother’s tense shoulders after long days as a nurse. That quiet, caring act planted a seed that never left me. The idea of becoming a massage therapist stayed with me, growing over time—until it became not just a calling, but a natural continuation of how I’ve always related to the world: through touch, presence, and care.”

Joel’s work as a massage therapist is deeply informed by his background as a seasoned potter and clay worker. Years of shaping clay have taught him how to listen with his hands – developing a refined sensitivity to pressure, texture and the subtle ways tension is held and released. Just like clay, the human body holds memory, stress, and emotion – Joel approaches both with care, precision, and deep respect.
